'A beautiful interaction' Fans react to moment Limerick student confesses he 'isn't out' on First Dates

Social media users have commended an interaction on the latest episode of First Dates Ireland where a Limerick student, Alex confessed he wasn't out as gay fully.

Fans of the popular dating show have took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts on a date between student Alex (21) and TEFL teacher Cillian (22) from Dublin.

Alex is currently in his second year studying fashion design at Limerick School of Art and Design.

Alex admitted to Cillian he was not out to his family and Cillian appeared shocked but his response is nothing but empathetic.

"It's not fine though and I am really sorry. It just makes the whole gay experience more difficult. It's s**t and it's tough but you are fu**king killing it because you are still here."

Alex looked taken aback and expressed "I feel like I am trauma dumping", empathetic Cillian says "no you are expressing your feelings and there is nothing wrong with that."
