GARDAÍ in Limerick are investigating a number of incidents of theft from cars and houses.
On Wednesday, January 24 a man in his 40s was at home in Dooradoyle. Sometime between 12pm and 2:30pm his car keys and wallet were taken from his home and his car was driven away.
Later that day, at some time overnight, a woman in her 20s reported the theft of sunglasses, a bracelet and cash from her car in Castletroy.
Overnight on January 25/26, a man in his 20s in Murroe reported the theft of cash, alcohol and a Revolut card from his car.
On Saturday, January 27 at 8:30pm a woman in her 20s living in Castletroy looked out her front door at her car and saw that the driver's door was open.
She noticed a bike lying on the ground beside her car and a male leaning into her car. She opened her front door and shouted at the male.
He jumped out of the car and cycled away with a small amount of coins from the car.
