Fallen tree blocks road near Salesian Secondary College in Pallaskenry
MOTORISTS are advised that a fallen tree has blocked the road near the gates to Salesian Secondary College in Pallaskenry this Sunday.
The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is asking road users to exercise caution while using the roads during Storm Isha.
Limerick City and County Council reports that Storm Isha has brought down a number of trees. They say the Old Mill Road, Newcastle West will remain closed until it is safe for council crews to clear a fallen tree on Monday morning. It is pictured below courtesy of Cllr Michael Collins.

The Status Orange wind warning for Limerick came into effect at 5pm and is valid until 2am on Monday morning.
Thousands of ESB customers in the county are without power thus far.
