SHANNON Airport has seen two diverted planes land on Shannonside runways, due to weather conditions.

A spokesperson for the Shannon Airport Group has confirmed that Shannon Airport has facilitated two diversions from Dublin Airport this Monday morning due to Storm Debi.

A Finnair (E!90) flight, routing from Helsinki to Dublin, diverted to Shannon landed safely at 9.40am.

A New York (EI106) flight, bound for Dublin, also diverted to Shannon Airport and landed safely at 10:11am.

Shannon Airport is operating a full schedule today, but passengers should "check with their airlines in case of delays at other airports internationally", the spokesperson concluded.
