LIMERICK influencer Sinead O'Brien has shared the happy news that she is engaged to her partner Simon.

The Patrickswell native is currently in Berlin with her now-fiancé Simon Fitzgerald and was enjoying an Andrea Bocelli concert when the Crecora man got down on one knee.

The Vacious by Sinead founder shared the happy news to her 119,00O Instagram followers with the caption "I SAID YESSS" alongside some pics of the couple kissing.

Earlier in the day, the classically trained award-winning soprano shared on her social media that Simon had gifted her with tickets to see the Italian tenor as she had "wanted to see him for years".

The influencer, who publishes online as sineadscurvystyle, also shared that she had got her hair done for the special concert, not knowing what was to come!

Sinead's family and friends were quick to wish the couple well on the Instagram post with other famous names sharing their joy.

Fellow influencer Louise Cooney posted under the picture: "Yeowwww the best news, so happy for ye!", while Grainne Mccoy said "If there is one girl who deserves every drop of happiness on this planet it is you Sinead".

Sinead and Simon welcomed their first child Jacob into the world in June 2022 and the family live in Mungret.

The joyful news comes seven months after Sinead's father, Dermot 'Dobs' O'Brien, passed away following an illness.
