MOTORISTS on one of the busiest roads in Limerick are being advised of potential delays this week with roadworks due to take place each evening and overnight.

Resurfacing, lining, studs and bridge joint installation works will begin on the M20 motorway at Junction 5 (N20/Croom/Cork) from 7 O'clock each evening until 6am the following day.

Restrictions will apply on the slip roads during the works and there will also be a stop/go system on the overbridge with diversions in place through Patrickswell village.

Northbound traffic (Limerick city direction) will impacted this Monday and Tuesday (see Map below) while southbound traffic (Adare direction) will be impacted on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The resurfacing works are subject to change depending on weather conditions with the contractors apologising for any inconvenience caused.
