Celebrity fitness instructor Joe Wicks
LIMERICK national school, St.Nessans in Mungret, has been chosen out of 10,000 schools for Joe Wicks to visit them on his promotional tour of schools in Ireland.
The school which entered the competition was "overjoyed to be chosen out of pure luck", said deputy principal Geraldine Histon.
"St.Nessans has a wellbeing team that has been focused on keeping our school active for many years and this visit from Joe will be a real treat given all the hard work our team do."
Wicks who is famously known as "The Body Coach," is no stranger to pushing the boundaries of fitness and engaging with his global fanbase. With millions of followers on platforms like Instagram and Twitter, Wicks has become a symbol of motivation and healthy living.
The English fitness guru will arrive in Mungret at 1:30pm on Thursday, September 28.
