Inquiries are ongoing
GARDAÍ are investigating the alleged assault of a woman in a busy store in Limerick.
The incident occurred earlier this Thursday evening in a retail premises at Childers Road on the southside of the city.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: “A woman in her 40s suffered non-life threatening injuries.”
According to the spokesperson, inquiries are ongoing.
A video, which has been circulating on social media, shows the assault occurring near the vegetable aisle.
