Limerick company makes big donation to charity

LOCAL self-storage company, StorageWise, donated €500 to local charity St. Vincent de Paul (SVP), on Thomas Street in Limerick.

This is a historic place for StorageWise as over 100 years ago it is where the original company was established called the Limerick Carting Company.

David Hickey is the current owner of StorageWise.

His great grandfather William Hickey started Limerick Carting Company in 1915.

They first transported goods from the train station in Limerick to various shops in the city.

The SVP charity shops are managed by a small number of professionals, assisted by a large number of volunteers and by community employment trainees.
