SINGER-songwriter Damien Dempsey will return to Limerick for a ‘big’ show this December - just in time for Christmas.
After two triumphant sold out shows at Iveagh Gardens in Dublin this July, Damien has announced his December Tour will kick off in Limerick - and end on New Year’s Eve in Killarney.
He will perform for a ‘Live at The Big Top’ show in The Milk Market on Friday, December 8.
2023 has also seen the first new music from Damien since 2018’s sublime Union album. Hope Calling is the first single from his yet untitled 2024 new album and is released via Sony Ireland.
As Damien suggests: “I believe we must always carry hope in our hearts, hope lives in dreams and imagination and visualisation, and without it, we would never solve or create anything, so keep it safe in your heart, always. I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing without hope, it helps us along through life like music does.”
Damien’s Christmas shows are becoming the highlights of the year and are not to be missed.
Announcing the news, Mick Dolan said: “If you enjoy a singsong and a good tune Damien’s Christmas shows are a highlight. One of Ireland’s great performers. Damien’s live shows are immense and are not to be missed."
Tickets are on sale this Friday, July 28 from 10am via Dolans.ie
