A DONATION of more than €40,000 worth of health supplies has been sent to Ukraine on behalf of one Limerick-based medical business.
Fleming Medical, located in Corcanree Business Park, Dock Rd, Limerick, has donated €43,000 worth of medical equipment to Ukraine, as the war continues.
The package includes 600 emergency delivery sets, first aid supplies and cauterisation sets, heat therapy packs and ice packs.
Fleming Medical has partnered with charity WALK to make this delivery happen.
WALK is a community and voluntary organisation based in Dublin and Louth that have worked closely with a Ukrainian disability charity since the war began.
“We find ourselves in a unique and privileged position to be able to donate vital humanitarian aid to those most in need through our social responsibility programme,” said Pat Geoghegan, Stock Control Supervisor at Fleming Medical.
“This is something we take very seriously and have been doing this for many years both domestically and internationally through various charities.”
Founded over 35 years ago, Fleming Medical is a family-owned business.
