The works will be carried out on the N24 at Ballysimon Interchange
MOTORISTS are being advised of possible delays this Wednesday and Thursday due to the implementation of a stop/go system on one of the busiest approach roads into Limerick city.
In a public notice, Limerick City and County Council says restrictions will be in place on the N24 at the Ballysimon interchange bridge deck, between the east and west junctions, to facilitate works.
The works, in conjunction with Colas Joint Venture & TII, will take place each day between 9.30am and 5.30pm on the inbound lane, along the deck of the bridge structure.
Local traffic diversions and temporary traffic management will operate, while the works are taking place.
However, access and egress at Junction 29 (M7) will not be affected.
The local authority is apologising for any inconvenience caused.
