Love Island winner apologises after incorrectly pronouncing Limerick

LOVE ISLAND winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has apologised after fans pointed out she was incorrectly pronouncing Limerick.

Ekin-Su is coming to the city this weekend and she took to Instagram on Wednesday to say she was looking forward to meeting her fans.

However, it was her pronunciation of Limerick that got people talking as her followers reacted to her well-intended attempt at saying the county name.

In the clip, the reality TV star said she would be visiting Lime-Rick during her visit to Ireland. Thankfully, her fans informed her how to say it correctly.

She later returned to Instagram and apologised before showing that she could indeed pronounce it the right way.

Ekin-Su is in Ireland for a number of meet and greets with cosmetic brand BPerfect.
