LIMERICK COLLEGE of Further Education Kilmallock Road Campus students hosted a coffee morning fundraiser for Ukrainian charity 'Help from Hand to Hand'.
The Ukrainian students also produced a video giving thanks to their classmates, teachers, and Irish people for their support.
'Help from Hand to Hand' is a registered Ukrainian charity that provides medical aid and supplies to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
The charity posts regularly to their Facebook page<https://www.facebook.com/ dopomogapro/> with reports of their current work.
The organisers Maryna Shepel, Yuliia Pylypenko, and Liudmyla Voitovych were proud to help with such an admirable effort. “There was such a warm and friendly atmosphere and we had great fun at the event. We are very grateful to the people and organisations that supported us. We raised 800 euros and all proceeds will go to this very good cause.” said Yuliia.
The war in Ukraine has left many lives forever tainted and families broken. Charities like 'Help from Hand to Hand', and the work of individuals such as Maryna Shepel, Yuliia Pylypenko, and Liudmyla Voitovych play a vital role in seeing innocent lives protected.
