THE Limerick senior footballers were presented with their Division 4 Allianz Football League winners medals and their Tailteann Cup runners-up medals at a special evening at the Fitzgerald's Woodlands House Hotel in Adare.
The medals were presented to the players by Seamus McNamara, Chairman of Limerck GAA.
Limerick defeated Wexford 3-11 to 0-18 in the Allianz Divsion 4 league final at the end of March in Croke Park.
Goals from Tommie Childs, Peter Nash and Darragh O'Siochru proved crucial as Limerick collected their first piece of silverware under manager Jimmy Lee.

Emmet Rigter was awarded TG4 man of the match for his impressive performance.
This was a first victory in the Divsion 4 Allianz League final for the Shannonsiders since 2013.
Limerick can look forward to playing Allianz Football League Division 3 football in 2026.
Limerick were narrowly defeated 1-24 to 2-19 in the Tailteann Cup final back at Croke Park in July.
Despite Limerick's two point defeat, the Shannonsiders can be very proud of his side's effort after they left everything out on the field throughout the 70 minutes.
Limerick open their inter-county campaign for 2026 when taking on Tipperary in a McGrath Cup group game at Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale on Friday, January 2, 7pm.
