Katie Lawlee has established herself as one of the standout young attacking talents in Irish women’s football since joining Treaty United Women in 2023. Her pace, technical ability and intelligence in the final third have made her a key figure within the squad.

At international level, Katie has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-19 level and has captained the side on multiple occasions, highlighting her leadership qualities and standing within the national setup. Her continued presence represents a significant boost as Treaty United Women retain both quality and experience in attacking areas.

Limerick-born midfielder Madison McGuane has also committed her future to the club following an outstanding rise through Treaty United’s youth system into senior football. Despite her young age, Madison has been a consistent performer in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division, showing maturity, technical quality and leadership well beyond her years.

Her performances have been recognised with a number of major individual honours, including SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division Player of the Month (May 2025), Women’s Premier Division Young Player of the Year, FAI Women’s Under-17 International Player of the Year, and PFA Ireland Women’s Young Player of the Year.

She has also featured extensively for the Republic of Ireland Women’s Under-17s and Under-19s, captaining both sides in European Championship qualifiers and representing her country at the highest youth international level.

Speaking on her re-signing, Katie Lawlee said:

"Re-signing for another season means a lot to me. Being part of this group has helped me grow both on and off the pitch, and training at this level every week has really pushed me. I’m looking forward to building on what I learned last season and continuing to develop as a player."

Madison McGuane added:

"I’m really happy to re-sign for my second year in the league. Last season was a massive learning experience for me, and it helped me to understand what it takes to compete at this level. I’m grateful to the coaches and the club for the support they’ve given me, and I’m excited to keep working hard and improving this year."

Treaty United Women Manager Laurie Ryan commented:

"Keeping Katie at the club was a key priority for us. She brings real quality, intelligence and leadership to our attacking play and continues to develop every season. Her experience with Ireland at U19 level speaks for itself."

"Retaining Madison was also an important part of our plans for next season. She has already shown exceptional maturity, quality and character despite her young age, and she brings incredible talent to our midfield. We’re delighted to see both players continue their journey with Treaty United Women."
