Limerick set to learn fate in Munster Senior Football Championship draw

THE MUNSTER Senior Football Championship draw takes place this evening. The provincial draws will be held at GAA headquarters at Croke Park in front of a live audience and will be streamed on the GAA website and associated online platforms, including GAA+.

Jimmy Lee's Limerick side can face Waterford or Cork or Tipperary in the Munster SFC quarter-final on April 10.The winners of those two quarter-finals will face Kerry or Clare in a Munster semi-final on April 25 and the provincial final will take place on the weekend of May 10.

No draws are required for the 2026 Munster senior hurling championships as the round-robin fixtures are scheduled annually on a rotating basis.

John Kiely's Limerick side will have a bye in round one of the Munster senior hurling championship next April.2025 Munster finalists Limerick will begin their Munster SHC campaign away to provincial champions Cork on the weekend of April 26 in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The Shannonsiders then travel to Ennis to take on Clare on the weekend of May 2 and 3. Kiely's charges then host Waterford in the round robin phase of the Munster SHC on the weekend of May 27 in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Limerick will finish off their Munster SHC round-robin series against All-Ireland champions Tipperary on the weekend of May 24. The Munster senior hurling final has been scheduled for June 7.
