ASKEATON BALLYSTEEN KILCORNAN face Galbally this evening at 8pm in the Limerick Intermediate Football Championship semi-final in Mick Neville Park.
A number of the Galbally players were in action last weekend for Garryspillane in the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship last weekend. Galbally will look to go one step further than last year after the south Limerick side were defeated in last year's IFC decider to Rathkeale.
This is the first year that Askeaton Ballysteen Kilcornan have joined together as a club. Danny Neville is a key player in attack for the west Limerick club.
The winners will play St Senan's in the Limerick Intermediate Football Championship on Sunday afternoon at 1pm in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale.
St Senan's edged Cappagh 0-18 to 0-16 in the other Limerick Intermediate Football Championship semi-final last weekend. Limerick senior footballer James Naughton was on target with an impressive 0-12 in St Senan's two point over Cappagh.
Oisin O'Farrell who was part of the Limerick senior hurling pnale in 2025 lined out midfield for St Senan's last weekend.
