FOUR Limerick senior footballers have all been named on this year's Tailteann Cup team of the year. Josh Ryan, Iain Corbett, Danny Neville and James Naughton have been rewarded for their performances during the Tailteann Cup. 

Goalkeeper Josh Ryan impressed on Limerick's run to the Tailteann Cup final. Ryan was awarded man of the match in the Shannonsiders semi-final victory over Wicklow after he saved a penalty.

Iain Corbett who recently announced his inter-county retirement has been named at number six. Danny Neville and James Naughton who combined scoring 3-43 during the Tailteann Cup have been named in attack.

The full back line includes Fermanagh's Lee Cullen, Kildare's Harry O'Neill and Wicklow's Malachy Stone. Corbett is partnered by James McGrath of Kildare and Sam McCartan of Kildare in the half back line. 

Wicklow captain Dean Hanley and Kildare captain Kevin Feely take both spots in the middle of the field. Naughton and Neville are joined by Alex Beirne in the half forward. Wexford's Sean Nolan, Westmeath's Luke Loughlin and Darragh Kirwan make up the full forward line. 

The four Limerick players will be presented with their awards tomorrow evening in Croke Park and the event will be live streamed on the GAA's YouTube channel on Friday at 7pm.
