THE IRISH Wire Products Limerick Senior Football Championship groups are starting to take shape with three rounds complete.
In group one, Adare have made it three wins from three in the senior football championship. Harry Gleeson's charges have now confirmed their place in the knockout stages of the SFC. Hugh Bourke, Davy Lyons and Robbie Bourke combined impressively scoring 0-13 out of their side's 0-19 against Oola.
Meanwhile, Oola suffered their first defeat of the SFC after a win and a draw in their first two games.Rathkeale got their first win since being promoted back to the Limerick Senior Football Championship after they saw off Na Piarsaigh last Friday evening.Twelve points from county star Barry Coleman set them well on their way with the midfielder landing five two point frees, as well as two second half efforts from play.
Adare are on the top of the table in group one on six points, Monaleen are in second place on four points and Fr Casey's sit in third place on three points and Rathkeale are in fourth place on two points. Na Piarsaigh are yet to get any points on the board in the SFC.

Last year’s county finalists are now firmly back in contention for the knockout stages, while Monaleen, who had won their opening two games, remain well placed despite the narrow defeat.
Newcastle West and St Kieran's are joint on top of the table in group two on five points after their draw last Friday evening. Former Limerick footballer Cian Sheehan returned from Australia to feature off the bench for the Magpies. Both sides will targetting to finish in top spot in group two.
Goals proved to be decisive as Mungret Paul's got the better of Kildimo-Pallaskenry in their game. Shane Barry, John Hutton, Tom Lloyd and Jack McCarthy all the hit the net for Kevin O'Hagan's side.
After Mungret St Paul's victory over Kildimo-Pallaskenry, manager Kevin O'Hagan hit out at the scheduling of the Limerick SFC fixtures. "The scheduling (of the Limerick SFC) has been worst than terrible,I don't it's being given enough of a chance for players and teams to develop," said O'Hagan.
Galtee Gales edged past Ballylanders last Saturday afternoon. Trailing by a point deep into added time, Conor McGrath fired in what proved to be a match-winning goal that saw Galtee Gaels secure a precious first victory in the SFC.
Mungret St Paul's are in third place on four points, Kildimo-Pallaskenry and Galtee Gaels are level on two points. Ballylanders are on bottom of the table in group two with zero points.
Two rounds of group action remain in the SFC. Round four of the SFC takes place on the weekend of September 27/28 and the final round of group action takes place on the weekend of October 11/12.
