THE Limerick Masters football side is through to this year's Challenge Cup All-Ireland Final after they defeated Clare on a scoreline of 0-16 to 0-10 in Rhebogue on Saturday.

Limerick faced a stern test from their Munster neighbours, with both teams trading scores in the first half, which left the 'Treaty County' up a point at the interval, 0-5 to 0-4. 

Limerick began to up the levels of intensity and eventually ran out six-point winners to set up a final date with London. 

Limerick will play London in this year's decider after the 'The Exiles' defeated Laois on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-12 in the competition's other semi-final pairing.

Details on this year's final are yet to be confirmed.
