Five Limerick players named on junior football team of the year

LIMERICK are well represented on the TG4 Ladies Junior Football Team of the Year with five of the team that played in the All-Ireland final named.

Monagea sisters Yvonne and Grace Lee, clubmates Deborah Murphy and Karen O'Leary, as well as team captain Roisin Ambrose have made the team. 

Down, who beat Limerick in the decider at Croke Park, have seven players named on the team. Fermanagh have two, while Carlow have one player.

It has also been confirmed that the 2023 TG4 All Star banquet will be held at Dublin’s Bonnington Hotel on Saturday, November 18. The list of 45 nominees will be revealed later this month.
