Limerick minor hurling panel for 2023 revealed

Limerick minor hurling captain Sean Morrissey of Dromin-Athlacca

LIMERICK manager Evan Loftus has announced a 37 strong squad for their upcoming Munster Minor Hurling Championship that begins next week.

Dromin-Athlacca's Sean Morrissey is the Limerick captain with Monaleen's Dara Ferland named as vice-captain in the Limerick team that start their campaign with a trip to Waterford.

Limerick follow the Waterford game with a game against Clare at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. Cork away and then Tipperary at home complete their group games.

Loftus is joined in the Limerick management team by the following: Coaches - Alan Kelly (Templeglantine) and Stephen Walsh (Glenroe), Selector - Tony Power (Monaleen), GK Coach - Shane O’Neill (Ballybricken-Bohermore), Strength and Conditioning - Darragh Droog (Mungret St. Pauls), Kitman - Darragh Bennis (Patrickswell), Liaison Officer - Kevin McGuinness (Clonlara- Clare), Performance Analysis - Mike Cotter (Bruree), Stats - Brian Sexton (Bruree), Sports Psychology - Patrick Jones (Hospital Herbertstown), Physio - Cillian Tierney (Churchill-Kerry), Doctor - Dan Power (Monaleen), Academy - Paul Browne (Bruff)

Limerick's game with Waterford has a 7pm throw-in at Fraher Field, Dungarven on Tuesday, March 21.
