Ardscoil Ris take on Our Lady's Templemore in the Harty Cup quarter final

ARDSCOIL Ris are back in Harty Cup action this Wednesday when they face Our Lady's Templemore in their quarter final at a venue yet to be confirmed.

Liam Cronin's side have two victories from their two group games with a 3-12 to 1-15 victory over Cashel beginning their campaign.

That was followed up by a two-point success against St Flannan's but Cronin wasn't all that happy with the performance against the Clare school.

"They out-worked us and should have been well ahead at half time," Cronin told the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live. "We used the ball a bit better in the second half - our best quarter was the fourth quarter and the same in round one against Cashel. We can't question their character and willingness to do everything for the school jersey."

Ardscoil face a Templemore side that earned a first round win over Pobail Scoil Na Trionide of Youghal but suffered a 13-point loss in their next game against Thurles CBS.

The North Circular Road school lost out in the Harty Cup Final in 2022 to St Joseph's Secondary School, Tulla but managed to taste sweet victory in the Croke Cup against St Kieran's College on St Patrick's Day.
