Final days to have your say on Limerick waste management survey

Residents and businesses are urged to take part before the consultation closes on Monday, January 19
RESIDENTS and businesses across Limerick city are being urged to have their say on the future of waste management, with just a number of days left to take part in the Residential Waste Management Survey.
Limerick City and County Council appointed Meehan Green Consultants to carry out a feasibility study aimed at developing a more efficient, modern and sustainable waste management system for the city.
The study, launched in early December, is examining how waste and recycling services currently operate, identifying challenges in the system and exploring opportunities to improve environmental performance and customer experience.
The online survey forms a key part of this public consultation, giving households and businesses the opportunity to share their experiences and highlight what is working well, as well as where improvements could be made.
Feedback will directly inform future planning and investment in waste services across the city.Participation is voluntary and all responses will be treated in strict confidence in line with GDPR and national data protection legislation.
No personal or identifying information will be published, with results used only in an aggregated format for research and planning purposes.
The survey, which has almost 100 submissions entering the final week, will close on Monday, January 19.
Those who wish to take part are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
Participants can complete the survey by registering for a MyPoint account at www.mypoint.limerick.ie
