A 210 acre holding at Kilmacow, Kilfinny, Adare, is for sale by private treaty

HOT to the market is a 210 acre farm of land in Adare.

It is rare for a farm of this size to come to the market in County Limerick, not to mind in the rich agricultural hinterland of Adare.

Prospective owners will have to have deep pockets as selling agent - GVM’s Tom Crosse - is guiding at €3.5m.

Mr Crosse said the 210 acre holding at Kilmacow, Kilfinny, Adare, for sale by private treaty, offers exceptional potential for dairy, beef, or equestrian enterprises.

“The rich and fertile land is well laid out in good-sized, easily managed fields, with excellent road frontage providing ease of access. There is also a right of way on to the main road linking Croom to Ballingarry (R519).

“This is truly one of the finest farms to come to the market in the Mid-West region in recent times,” said Mr Crosse.

Situated close to the picturesque heritage village of Adare, GVM’s property director said the farm enjoys a prime setting, combining productivity and rural charm. There is easy access to both Ballingarry and Croom with Limerick city just 20 minutes drive away. The N20 and N21 are also easily accessible.

“An old farmhouse, steeped in character, sits at the heart of the holding and should qualify for refurbishment grants, offering an opportunity to create a modern home while retaining traditional features.

“A selection of ancillary sheds and outbuildings complement the holding, suitable for a range of agricultural uses,” said Mr Crosse.

He describes Kilmacow, Kilfinny, Adare as “a rare opportunity to acquire a large, versatile holding in one of Limerick's most sought-after farming areas”.

“The vast acreage provides incredible seclusion, stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and a profound sense of peace,” concludes Mr Crosse.
