Multi-million euro Limerick farm to go under hammer

The auction of 102 acres at Lisamote, Kilfinny, Adare is sure to be hotly contested in the room and online on Tuesday, October 1

IF YOU want to purchase a hundred acre farm in Adare then you’ll need deep pockets.

GVM have announced to the market an “outstanding” farm encompassing 102 acres of superb quality land with extensive road frontage to three roads, five bedroom bungalow and out offices.

GVM’s Tom Crosse is guiding €1.75m for the prize lot at Lisamote, Kilfinny but nobody would be shocked if it exceeds €2m.

It is due to go under the hammer on Tuesday, October 1 at 3pm in GVM’s auctions rooms on Glentworth Street.

Mr Crosse describes it as a “trophy farm” with site potential.

“It is laid out in easily managed divisions and well watered and fenced ensuring the utmost convenience and efficiency for modern day farming. The topography of the land is flat in nature and enjoys approximately 1.5 km of extensive frontage to three roads which could offer site potential given the hugely popular and affluent location.

“There is a piped water supply together with natural water from a stream that flows through the farm,” said Mr Crosse.

The auctioneer said the holding is ideal for all types of farming use including dairying, beef, equestrian, hobby farming and is also an ideal investment opportunity for business people.

This farm also contains a five bedroom bungalow and several ancillary out offices.

“The location speaks for itself in close proximity to the picturesque village of Adare with easy access also to Kilfinny, Ballingarry and the N21 linking Limerick to Kerry,” said Mr Crosse.

His phone is already hopping from interested parties and it is sure to be a hotly-contested auction in the room and online with bidders from county Limerick and around the country.
