A MILESTONE for education in the Mid-West has been reached with the launch of the Limerick and Clare ETB's Local Creative Youth Partnership strategic plan, 2025 - 2027 through education.
The strategic plan is part of its Call & Response Creative Youth Festival and aims to create more opportunities for young people to express themselves and support their educational journeys.
Zara Starr Madden, LCYP co-ordinator, stated: “We’re incredibly excited to launch this plan, which reflects our deep commitment to nurturing young people’s creative potential.

“This plan sets out an ambitious path to increase access to high-quality creative opportunities”.
Minister Patrick O'Donovan attended the official launch at Coláiste Íde agus Iosef Community College in Abbeyfeale. He emphasised the importance of young people, particularly during a time of political uncertainty and global challenges.
Minister O'Donovan spoke about how young creatives are crucial in providing a guiding light.
Bernadette Cullen, chief executive of Limerick and Clare ETB, said: “This move provides a fantastic opportunity to link formal education with informal learning experiences”.
