Deaths in Limerick -February 3, 2018

The death has occurred of Mary Cooke (née Meehan) of Annagh, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick. 

Peacefully at Milford Care Centre. Wife of the late Tony and mother of the late Anthony. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Rina, sons Martin and Liam, daughters in law, grandchildren, brother John, sisters in law, nephews, carers, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Meehan's Funeral Home, Newport this Monday, February 5, from 5 pm with removal at 8 p.m. to the Holy Rosary Church Murroe. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11.30 am, burial afterwards in Annagh Cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations if desired to M.S Society and Milford Hospice.

The death has occurred of Josephine (Josie) Hayes (née Leonard) of Ballinlyna, Kilfinane, and Kilmallock, Limerick. 

Beloved wife of the late Patrick and dear mother of Margaret Treacy. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter, sister-in-law Bridget Leonard, son-in-law Dominic, grandchildren Lisa, Darragh and Allison, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hawe's Funeral Home, Charleville, on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm.

Reception into St Andrew's Church, Kilfinane on Tuesday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Funeral afterwards to the local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Fr. Thomas Ryan, of Caherconlish, Limerick and late of Middlesbrough Diocese, England.

Fr. Thomas died peacefully in the loving care of the Staff of St. Paul’s Nursing Home, Dooradoyle.

Pre-deceased by his siblings Michael, Fr. Dick, Denis and Sr. M. Colette.

Deeply regretted by his sisters Srs. Catarina (Convent of Mercy) and Anna (Presentation Convent), many cousins, neighbours and friends including the Bishop, Priests and people of the Diocese of Middlesbrough.

Reposing at St. Paul’s Nursing Home on Monday February 5th from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Funeral arriving at Our Lady, Mother of the Church, Caherconlish on Tuesday for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Inch St. Lawrence Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Thomas Shine of Lower Gerald Griffin Street. 

Thomas is survived by his sister Margaret Bennett, niece, nephews, all other relatives and many friends.

Arriving for requiem Mass on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 12.00pm in St Michael's Church, Denmark St. Cremation afterwards at Shannon Crematorium, Shannon, Co Clare.
