The death has occurred of Angela Mitchell née Egan of Fairview Terrace, Greenhill Road, Garryowen and late of Kilmurry Avenue, Limerick City.

Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, September 24.

Predeceased by husband Sammy.

Sadly missed by her daughters Helen, Linda and Shirley, grand children Craig, Jack and Donal, and her dog Sussie, sons-in-law, brother Anthony, sisters Chrissy and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, on Gerald Griffin Street, on Sunday, September 28 from 2.30pm to 4pm.

Funeral will arrive on Monday, September 29, at St John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Mount St Lawrence (Ext) Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Marian Kneafsey née Corridan of Kilcara, Duagh, Kerry, of Abbeyfeale, Limerick and formerly of Brosna, Kerry. Proprietor and Matron of Kilcara House Nursing Home, Duagh, Co Kerry.

Passed away at University Hospital Kerry, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, September 24.

Predeceased by her parents John and Ann, brothers Brendan and Johnny, sister Anne.

Marian is very sadly missed by her loving husband Noel, sons Brian, Seamus and Paul, daughters-in-law Teresa and Sandy, sisters Kathleen, Noreen, Peg, Pauline, Cora and Josephine, brothers Charlie, Jimmy and Patrick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all her other relatives, neighbours, friends and the staff and residents at Kilcara House Nursing Home.

Reposing at her home (V31 VC56), (adjacent to Kilcara House Nursing Home) on Friday, September 26 from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Saturday to St Carthage’s Church, Brosna to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12pm.

The death has occurred of Thomas Mangan of Ballinagarde, Ballyneety, Limerick.

Passed away, unexpectedly, after a short illness, at University Hospital Limerick, on Wednesday, September 24.

Predeceased by brother Johnny, sisters Betty Munnelly and Philomena Lawlor.

He will be missed by his nephews Denis, Joseph and Joe, nieces Carole and Collette, cousins, close friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home in Ballyneety, on Friday, September 26 from 6pm to 7pm, followed by removal to St Patrick's Church Knockea.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, September 27, at 11am with funeral afterwards to Rockstown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of John McNally of Old Church Street, Abbeyfeale, and formerly of Clash, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, in the excellent care of the nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry, surrounded by his family, close friends and those he loved most, on Wednesday September 24.

John was a shining light to Niamh, Luke, Cillian, Niall, Marian and Cyril Morrissey. He will be very sadly missed by close friends Neilus Healy and James Fitzgerald, all his neighbours and a large circle of friends. John will be forever in our thoughts.

Requiem Mass for John will be celebrated in The Church of The Assumption Abbeyfeale on Saturday, September 27 at 11am.

Cremation to follow at Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.

Donations if desired to Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.

The death has occurred of Bill Ryan of Glanmire, Cork and late of Kileely, Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, at Brookfield Care Centre, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, September 24.

Dearly loved husband of Monica (née Murphy), loving father of Tracey, Cliona and Stephen, dear brother of Mary Joan, Tony, Margaret, Dolores and Peter.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law David and Martin, daughter-in-law Monica, grandchildren Scott, Sean, Sam, Sofia and Jack, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Service at 2pm on Saturday, September 27 at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy.

Donations in lieu of flowers to The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

The family would like to acknowledge the care and kindness shown to Bill at Brookfield Care Centre.

Passed away, peacefully, in Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan surrounded by his family, on Thursday, September 25.

Predeceased by his granddaughter Saidhbh, brothers Liam, Jackie, Mikey, and Joe, sisters Mary-Margaret and Martha.

Christy will be forever loved and sadly missed by his loving family, wife Mary, son James, daughters Rosaleen, Julie and Sara, grandchildren Diarmuid, Caleb, Charlotte, Raphael, Gráinne, Dorothy, Oscar and Olivia, daughter-in-law Hayley, sons-in-law Maris and Michael, sisters Madeline and Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown (C15 C425) on Sunday, September 28 from 3pm to 6pm. Arriving to St Mary’s Church, Navan on Monday morning for Funeral Mass at 10am. A private cremation will take place afterwards.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

The death has occurred of John (Jackie) Goodwin of North Circular Road, Limerick and formerly of the Curragower Bar, Clancy Strand, Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, at St Paul’s Nursing Home, Dooradoyle, Limerick, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, September 24.

Jackie will be deeply missed by his wife, Rita, children, Maria, Veronica, John and Frank, sons-in-law Tom and Peter, daughter-in-law Claire, his beloved grandchildren Aoife, Eoin, Aengus, Ronan, Fionn, Colm, Aimee, Sláine and Chloe, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, on Sunday, September 28, from 3.30pm to 5pm, followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, Limerick.

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, September 29, at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Mount St Lawrence (old) Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Limerick Animal Welfare.
