The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Roche (née Ryan)

Of Cappamore

On June 20, 2025, peacefully at home. Predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her loving husband Mike, sons Michael and Dave, daughters Martina, Josie, Liz and Evelyn, brother Jimmy, sons-in-law Declan, Patrick and Shane, daughters-in-law Caroline and Cathy, adored grandchildren, great-grandchild, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Lynch-Kelly’s Funeral Home, Cappamore, V94 C5H2 Sunday evening, June 22 from 5pm with removal at 7pm to St Michael’s Church, Cappamore. Requiem Mass Monday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Abington Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

Of Main Street, Ardagh

Connie passed away on June 18, 2025 in Galway University Hospital surrounded by his family.

Deeply missed by his wife Angela (nee Sammon), daughter Ailish, sons John and David, siblings Sr. Bridget, Ailish (Moloney) and Michael, daughters-in-law Breda and Maureen, son-in-law Liam, grandchildren Sarah, Killian, Jack, Meadhbh, Conor, Eoghan, Leah and C.J., nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace

Reposing at St Molua’s Church, Ardagh, Eircode V42 WN82 on Sunday, June 22, from 3pm to 6pm. Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Monday, June 23.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Elsie Masterson (née Barrett)

Of Oakland Drive, Greystones and Bruff


On June 19, 2025, peacefully in the loving care of her family and Roseville House Nursing Home Staff. Beloved wife of the late John. Elsie will be very sadly missed by her loving children Breda, Maureen, Bernie, Caroline and Brian, their partners, her cherished grandchildren, great granddaughter, sisters Mary and Bridie, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Denis and Eddie.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Sunday, June 22 from 4.00pm to 5.30pm followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass on Monday,  June 23 at 11am with burial afterwards in Bruff Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) O'Connor

Of Sandylane, Boher, V94AEH9

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Patrick (Paddy) O’Connor, of Sandylane, Boher, and formerly of Newsom’s (Limerick), Cloughnadromin and Lisowen, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick, on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridie, his daughters Elizabeth, Mairead and Kathryn, his sons Tim, Fergus, Eamon, Patrick and John; his sons-in-law Mikael, Martin and Enda, his daughters-in-law Alison, Irene, Olive, Nicola and Laura; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings Elizabeth, Mary, Kathleen, Martin and Mattie, their spouses and families; his aunts-in-law, Myra, Chrissie and Maureen, his cousins and his extended family, a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence in Sandylane, Boher V94 AEH9 on Saturday, June 21, from 4pm to 8pm. Arriving at St Nicholas’ Church, Boher, on Sunday June 22 for requiem Mass at 2pm.

Burial afterwards in Abington Cemetery.
