Funeral arrangements announced for 10-year-old killed in collision

THE funeral arrangements for a young boy who passed away following a road collision in Clare have been announced. 

Dylan Coady Coleman, 10, from Shannon passed away on Wednesday at Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin following the collision on Sunday.

Two days later, the sports mad boy's parents parents Garry and Laura welcomed a baby boy at the Rotunda Hospital.

Baby Shane Coady Coleman has been given the middle name Dylan, after his big brother whom he got to meet before he passed away.

Dylan will be reposing in McMahons Funeral Home, Shannon this Saturday, March 2, from 4pm to 6pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in Mary Immaculate Church on Sunday, March 3, at 1:30pm followed by burial afterwards in Illaunmanagh Cemetery.

His family have requested that those attending the funeral wear jersey tops and odd socks, as Dylan had a passion for sport.

Dylan will be deeply missed by his heartbroken family and his many friends and classmates in St Tolas school, Shannon.
