Stills from a video of the arson attack shared on social media
GARDAI are investigating a second arson attack in just over 24 hours in Limerick city.
A high-end jeep was torched in the Corbally area in the early hours of this Sunday morning. A video of the incident has been widely shared on social media.
It shows a vehicle pulling up behind the jeep and two masked men getting out. One pours an accelerant from a canister over the jeep while the other man sets it alight.
They jump back in their vehicle and begin to drive off when a person runs out from a house after hearing the commotion. The driver appears to steer in the direction of the person before speeding off.
The person from the house then attempts to put out the fire with a blanket. No injuries have been reported.

The arson attack in Corbally follows molotov cocktails thrown at property in Garryowen just over 24 hours earlier on Friday.
