The accused was arraigned before Judge Colin Daly at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court
A MAN has pleaded guilty to four offences including possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Shane O’Donoghue, aged 26, of Lenihan Avenue, Prospect, Limerick city was arraigned before Judge Colin Daly at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.
Mr O’Donoghue said “guilty” when the four charges were put to him by the court registrar.
He pleaded to threatening to kill a named individual in O’Malley Park, Southill on June 4, 2023. Mr O’Donoghue pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life at Hyde Road, Limerick city on the same date.
The accused pleaded guilty to two charges of committing criminal damage at the same house on the Hyde Road Limerick city on August 21, 2023.

Prosecuting barrister John O’Sullivan, instructed by State solicitor Padraig Mawe, said they were two separate incidents.
Mark Nicholas SC represented Mr O’Donoghue during the brief procedural matter.
Mr O’Donoghue was remanded in continuing custody.
Judge Daly adjourned sentencing the accused until a future date.
