A PURSE stolen from a parked car in a driveway in Limerick has prompted a garda investigation.
Between Wednesday night, April 2, and Thursday morning, a purse was stolen from a car that was parked in a housing estate just off the Bloodmill Road in Limerick city.
Sergeant Aoife Bannon from community policing at Henry St garda station has warned car owners that “even small things can attract the wrong attention”.

“We want to encourage people not to leave any valuables in their car, especially not in plain sight - even small things can attract the wrong attention,” she said.
“We are also appealing to anyone who might have seen anything suspicious in the Bloodmill Road area that night to please get in touch with Henry St garda station.”
