Early morning burglary of commercial premises in Limerick investigated by gardaí

THE BURGLARY of a commercial premises in county Limerick where a quantity of money was taken is being investigated by gardaí.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, January 14 at approximately 4am, there was a burglary in a commercial premises on Main Street, Bruff.  

“The burglar gained entry to the property by removing a window at the back of the premises,” said Sergeant Michelle O Halloran, crime prevention officer at Henry Street Garda Station.

“Once inside, the burglar searched and found a quantity of money. Given the time, perhaps delivery drivers or persons travelling to or from work may have been passing and recall seeing a person or vehicle in the area of Main Street.”

Bruff Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have heard or noticed unusual activity to contact them at 061 382940.
