Opportunist thief takes car from owner outside house in Limerick

AN OPPORTUNIST thief who stole a car and later abandoned it sparks a warning by gardaí.

In the early hours of Wednesday, January 8, a white 2023 Volkswagen Polo was stolen from outside a home in the South Circular Road in Limerick city.

“Unfortunately, a thief saw their opportunity at this stage and took the vehicle. It was later that morning located in the Coonagh area of the city.”
