The seized Volkswagen Golf GTD
A HIGH-POWERED Volkswagen Golf GTD was seized by gardai after the vehicle was stopped in Rathkeale over the weekend.
A post on the An Garda Siochana Limerick Facebook page on Sunday night said the vehicle was suspected of being used in a dangerous driving incident earlier in December.

“On stopping the vehicle this evening, it was discovered that the driver also had no insurance.
"The vehicle was seized with a court appearance to follow,” read the post on the official Limerick garda social media account.
