The scene of the shooting incident this Friday morning
SHOTS were fired at a house in Limerick overnight in what is suspected to be an escalation in an ongoing feud on the southside of the city.
There have been a number of arson attacks in recent weeks on properties in the Southill and Hyde Road areas but this is understood to be the first gun attack.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances in relation to the discharge of a firearm that occurred on Hyde Road, Limerick city at approximately 1am, Friday, November 8, 2024."
