BREAKING: Three arrested as gardaí seize quantities of drugs and cash in Limerick

GARDAÍ have arrested three men during a planned operation in the St. Mary’s Park area of Limerick city.

Four residences were searched under warrant, along with large areas of open land this Wednesday, September 4.

Quantities of suspected crack cocaine, cannabis and cash were also seized. All drugs seized are now subject to examination by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).

The searches are part of an ongoing operation aimed at targeting the sale and supply of illegal drugs and related criminal activity in Limerick city. This investigation is led by members attached to Henry Street Garda Station.

Today's operation, entitled Operation Feabhsaigh was supported by the Divisional Drugs Unit, the Garda Armed Support Unit, the Garda Air Support Unit and the Garda Dog Unit.

All three arrested males (aged in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s) have since appeared before the courts.

The investigation remains ongoing.
