Limerick gardaí arrest man in his 20s in relation to delivery van theft

A MAN in his 20s arrested in relation to the theft of a delivery van in Limerick has been charged by investigating gardai and will appear in court this Thursday.  

According to An Garda Síochána, officers in Mayorstone arrested the man this Wednesday morning in relation to the investigation of the theft, which occurred on North Circular Road in Limerick city on the morning of December 20, 2023. 

He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a garda station in the Limerick Division and has since been charged. 

He is due to appear before Limerick District Court on Thursday morning at 10.30am. 

Investigations are ongoing.
