Gardai investigate alleged 'biting' incident in Limerick

Gardai are investigating an alleged assault in Adare

GARDAI are investigating an alleged assault in a premises in Adare and probing if one of the victims was bitten, Limerick Live has learned.

Gardaí have confirmed they are investigating an alleged incident of assault at a premises in the village in the early hours of Thursday, November 9.

"Gardaí attended this incident and met with two males who presented with non-life threatening injuries.

"While attending, gardaí arrested a woman, aged in her late 30s, for public order offences. She has been released without charge," said a garda spokesperson.

Limerick Live understands one or both of the males suffered facial injuries and gardai are investigating if they were bitten during the incident.

Investigations are ongoing.
