The Hunt Museum and Limerick Printmakers will receive government funding under the Cultural Capital Scheme
TWO Limerick arts organisations are to benefit from more than €49,000 in government funding announced as part of a €1.4 million national scheme to upgrade cultural facilities.
The Hunt Museum will receive €34,324 and whilst Limerick Printmakers will be allocated €14,790.
This funding is provided under Stream E of the Cultural Capital Scheme, a €1.4m capital investment scheme focused on enhancing the existing stock of arts and culture centres throughout the country.
Senator Maria Byrne has welcomed this funding, saying: "I am really pleased to see two Limerick projects receiving the above funds, I would also urge those who may be eligible to consider applying as the scheme remains open."

"The scheme focuses on enhancing the existing stock of arts and culture centres throughout the country. In line with the Government's action on climate change, this scheme also welcomes projects that reduce an organisation's carbon footprint as well as projects that provide additional capacity for artistic production."
