THE VIBRANT spirit of Brazil will once again fill the streets of Limerick as the Brazilian Day Festival returns for the third time.

The community-led initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties, support local entrepreneurship, and celebrate the growing Brazilian community in Ireland.

This year’s festival promises a rich programme including live music and dance performances, a curated exhibitor fair featuring local businesses and artisans, roundtable discussion on health and cancer challenges in Ireland, activities for families and children, and traditional Brazilian food and cultural showcases.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 30, at The Hunt Museum Garden, from 10:00am to 5:30pm, and is free and open to the public.

“The Brazilian Day Festival is a unique celebration of culture, connection, and community,” said Leticia Bastos, Honorary Consul of Brazil in Limerick and Clare. “We are honoured to welcome the support of our partners and to provide a space where our community can come together and be seen.”

The event is supported by the Brazilian Embassy in Ireland, Limerick City & County Council, and Mary Immaculate College, reinforcing its role as a bridge between communities and cultures.
