My week with Celia Holman Lee: Fabulous fashion and a Gran Canarian glow!

My week with Celia Holman Lee: Fabulous fashion and a Gran Canarian glow!

AS I soak up the sun in beautiful Gran Canaria, my mind is already on another dazzling event - the annual Laurel Hill Schools' Spring/Summer Fashion Show.

I am thrilled to once again be part of this incredible occasion.

Year after year, this showcase of style and talent highlights the best of Limerick’s fashion scene.

Hosting this show is always a joy, as it celebrates young creativity.

This year’s show, taking place on Thursday, March 6, at The Strand Hotel, promises to be one of the most exciting yet.

The tradition, now in its 47th year, brings together 36 fifth-year students who will take to the runway in stunning ball gowns from Dani’s Closet and sleek sportswear from So Hockey.

A special treat awaits as some of the school’s male teachers make their much-anticipated return to the catwalk, with Sexton’s

Menswear providing their looks. Female teachers will step into the spotlight showcasing pieces from Pamela Scott.

It’s a joy to witness the collaboration between the schools and Limerick’s finest boutiques and designers, including Ber McNamara, Brown Thomas, and Marion Murphy-Cooney.

And speaking of fashion, I recently took a much-needed break in Gran Canaria.

Nothing compares to the effortless chic of holiday wear - flowy dresses, soft cotton, oversized sunglasses, and a gentle sea breeze.

It reminded me that fashion is about confidence, whether you’re on a catwalk or simply enjoying a sunset abroad.

See you all soon at The Strand Hotel for a night of glamour, style, and celebration!
