NINE fashion shows in three days! What a whirlwind of glitz, glam and a fabulous array of fabrics!
We had a blast at this year’s National Ploughing Championships and it once again didn’t leave us down.
Blessed this year with the weather, the sun shone on the fashion tent for three days in Ratheniska, Co Laois.
Everyone at the Holman Lee Agency and I are so grateful for the enthusiasm and interest that was shown this year, and we are over the moon that the shows were such a success.
One of the many highlights of this year was the appearance we made on RTÉ’s Nationwide, giving a behind-the-scenes look beyond the curtain of what it means to be fashion forward at the Ploughing Championships.

We were certainly busy bees, with models taking to the catwalk each day at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm.
A wide selection of stores and boutiques were showcased with all of the latest autumnal wear and accessories.
I was delighted to have met such great crowds from Limerick and it was wonderful to have the support from home.
It was a treat to be able to get some more wear out of my summer dresses and what a privilege it was to be sporting sunglasses in September!!
For day one I opted for a pleated, ankle-length, baby pink gown by Klassy Lady Boutique. It was a stunning dress, with button detail and a lacy floral design on the waist.
On the final day, I decided to wear a purple and pink belted dress by Fifty Seven Boutique, that had a pop of colour!
The unseasonably warm weather brought with it beautiful style, which made me smile.
I look forward to more events this autumn and winter, having ticked the Ploughing Championships off the list for another year - a true staple of the Holman Lee Agency calendar.
