I was joined by my wonderful team in Limerick to take photos for my new book ‘Glamour and Grit’. Keith Wiseman, Erika Benson and Marion Murphy Cooney made the day truly special!
TAKING COMPLETE advantage of the glorious burst of sunny weather we had in Limerick last week, I headed into the city for an exciting photoshoot!
With the help of my amazing team, we took some fabulous photos for the release of my book ‘Glamour and Grit’. Keith Wiseman, our photographer, captured the essence of Limerick, as we took photos next to the Shannon river.
I wore a fabulous gown designed for me by the amazingly talented Marion Murphy Cooney and had the assistance of the wonderful Erika Benson who helped behind the scenes.
It was a fabulous day to be out in Limerick and all the locations we used in our shoot around the city were amazing.
‘Glamour & Grit’ is my fabulous book that takes you on a journey, capturing my life over the last 60 years.

It tells the story of all the incredible people that I have met, the stunning places I have been to and the truly fabulous clothes that I’ve worn over the years.
The idea for the book came during Covid, with the help of Orla Shiel who had the idea to catalog my life. Myself and my mother kept a large collection of memorabilia of photos and press clippings over the years. The pictures tell a great story of my personal history and the change in the fashion space in Limerick and Ireland.
I chose the title Glamour & Grit for my book because that is exactly what these 60 years have been about.
Lots of hard work, lots of twists and turns along the way, and of course lots of amazing people, places and occasions that I’ve been so fortunate to meet and be a part of.
