My week with Celia Holman Lee: Glamour at the Gardens for a fashionable affair!

WHAT A ‘pinch me’ moment this past Riverfest weekend has been, with record crowds flocking to the city for four days of fun, sun, and fabulous fashion!

If you were anywhere near Gardens International in the heart of Limerick on Saturday night, you’ll know that Fashionfest took over the city in the most fabulous way.

Hosted by the Holman Lee Agency and joined by the utterly fabulous Meghann Scully, the extraordinary event was set in one of Limerick’s most stunning venues.

An impressive red-brick giant of a building, the interior at Gardens International is white, bright marble, and it is beautifully modern. A true gem!

We kicked off the evening with a lively drinks reception at 6pm, where the prosecco sparkled almost as much as the guests.

Then, at 7pm sharp, it was showtime!

The runway came alive with jaw-dropping collections from some of Limerick’s most talented designers and fashion houses.

Think bold silhouettes, romantic tailoring, and a touch of drama!

The young designers from LSAD and the Limerick College of FET truly held their own.

Their creativity, courage, and originality blew the crowd away.

Watching their pieces glide down the runway was a magnificent moment.

Fashionfest wasn’t just another stylish soirée, it was a jewel in the crown of Riverfest Limerick 2025, and it drew more crowds than ever before.

A huge thanks to Limerick City and County Council. With their support, we get to keep putting Limerick on the fashion map, and long may that continue.
