My Week with Celia Holman Lee: The VIP treatment for this Limerick lady

TWENTY FIVE years on from being the first winner of the VIP Style Awards, it was incredible to still make the front cover of VIP magazine.

The special edition of this fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine celebrated the 25th anniversary of the publication, which I have always adored.

Magazine features and cover shoot appearances have seemed to dominate my calendar recently, and how delighted I am to be asked to make an appearance.

Being alongside Irish style icons Suzanne Jackson, Rosanna Davison and journalist Gráinne Seoige, who has just finished up with Ireland AM, on the front cover was an honourable experience.

For the cover shoot I wore an emerald green ball gown, which I paired with an elegant gold headpiece. The elegant tulle dress was of course by the best, Phoenix V, whose boutique I love and often buy from.

I bought my headpiece from a talented crafter in Limerick, of course. Supporting local and boosting business in lovely Limerick is something I always strive for!

It was from Gregor Pituch who has a workshop in Limerick city and is a master designer.

Pairing this gold floral headpiece with my rich green dress made me feel like a blossoming flower in a luscious forest - like mother nature herself!

I spoke at length about my career, from the humble beginnings as a young model starting off in the big bad world to where I am now. The ups and downs, iconic moments and adapting to a new world of fashion and beauty, as trends change along with technology advances.
