LIMERICK camogie officials have confirmed the appointment of a new county senior manager.

Bruree GAA clubman David Deady was rubber-stamped for the role at a Limerick Camogie Board meeting on Friday night.

A well known GAA referee, Deady has been involved with Granagh-Ballingarry camogie club and in recent years served as Limerick junior camogie manager.

He now steps into the senior role and will also assume the role of U23 manager for the 2026 season.

Former inter-county hurler Joe Quaid stepped down after two years as camogie manager in September.

Now the search for a new manager has concluded with the appointment of Deady.

His management team will include lead coach Brian Leahy, along with coaches Alan Kelly and Caitrín de Bhal.

The S&C coaching will be under Darragh Murphy. The goalkeeping coach is Paul Hogan.

The medical team will be led by Dr Cathal O'Donnell, with Kevin Murphy and Claudia Daly. Dave O'Shea takes care of performance analysis whilst Mary Kennedy has a kit and logistics role.
